You can go swimming in the crystal – clear water, admiring the natural beauty, feeling secure at the same time thanks to the Parnonas Mountain that protects you. Not to mention that you are very close to Spetses and Spetsopoula islands (when it’s clear skies you can see the houses of Spetses and Spetsopoula!).

You can walk on Poulithra beach, from one side the port and from the other side you will see small bay beaches and caves!

Hiking in Vigla a site of Parnonas Mountain with magical and great archeological interest – finds of the ancient city of Polihni!!!

If you want to go on foot to the unexplored earthly paradise of Agios Georgios beach, from Poulithra port you follow the pathway that goes along the coast where you meet MARILIA that declares discreetly its presence in this heavenly environment, the pathway ends at Agios Georgios chapel.

DO YOU WANT TO WALK TO THE COBBLED STREETS THAT UNITED – UNTIL THE END OF THE 60s – THE NORTH WITH THE SOUTH, THE MOUNTAIN WITH THE SEA, THE RURAL WITH THE COASTAL SEASIDE ARCADIA?

From Agios Georgios beach, close to MARILIA, you follow the old pathway that ends to the rural village of Pigadi.

To reach Pigadi you pass through the little village of Loggari , where many families lived there during the 60’s, back then it was a small but vivid village, a small – scale society.

Another “encounter with the past” is to walk up Poulithra village and to follow the paved pathway that leads to the Inns of Pirgoudi (Tsoumos). In the past, this pathway was the only way that united Poulithra village with Pelata and Kounoupia villages.

When you reach the north Poulithra, you will make a stop – for sure – to see the traditional and neoclassical scheduled houses..

***Last but not least, Greek food in ZAVALIS tavern with the delicious tidbits and Mrs Sofia’s incomparable recipes, recipes that drove Nick Nolte mad (yes the movie Star), Nick Nolte was dining every night in ZAVALIS tavern during his stay in Poulithra (in Poulithra and the surrounding area took place the shootings of his last movie – “ARCADIA LOST”).

ZAVALIS tavern : delicious food and view to the sea. ZAVALIS tavern is situated literally on the sea, so close that you can hear the sound of the waves reaching the shore, and you feel peaceful, happy and joyful.
On the other side of the horizon, you can see Spetses and Spetsopoula islands. What a unique feeling!!!
